i just installed mine a few weeks ago on my N/A supra in anticipation of going turbo, no problems just took the old one off, cut the extra metal, installed plugs based on clubna-t instructions.

edit: had to order the #2 wire for the extra length

Ebay manifold, PT-70 turbo, as you can see a 4" intake pipe still will not clear the cap. I had to switch to the 4R cap just to clear the bottom plug wire off the compressor housing.

you need toyota PN 19101-65040. 92+ 4Runner V6 distributor cap
AND
order a single 2JZ-GE #2 cyl plug wire. That wire will replace your current #1 plug wire which will not reach it's intended plug.

Just a heads up that you dont need to buy that lead, just swap your #1 and #2 leads around and it will fit fine :)

You dont need to replace the rotor either.

Good luck

While this is true, it costs less than $10 if you buy it from a forum sponsor, never hurts to have new ignition parts. I did cap, rotor, wires, and coil and noticed a decent difference in idle mostly.
