Is that really a working supercharger on there? What kind of valve actuation does it us? It looks like its got twin cams of some type with pushrods, with those horizontally opposed belts at the bottom of the block. Is it watercooled also...is that a radiator on the back? What fuel does it run on?
Can you purchase one of those? That is some cool stuff.

It's a pushrod motor, and it runs on gas. Those belts are for the oil pump and the water pump.

Cloak, turbor850... Thanks for the info! Dry sump lubrication, supercharged, dual carbs... serious stuff. Im going to check into those. Ill probably pass out when I find out how much it costs though.
I wonder if I could put my TEC3 on it LOL All I need is a little tiny crank angle sensor for ignition timing :)

Wow, after reading this guy's webiste, I am totally blown away. This is definately one of the most impressive things I have ever heard of someone building. This guy built this entire engine from raw aluminum...at home. And, its even got electronic iginition with a mini hall-effect sensor, so my tec would actually work. I can not even fathom the technical expertise it would take to create such a thing. He has a CNC machine at home, so Im sure that helps, but damn...Its utterly mind-blowing. Bad new is...you cant just buy them. And ill never be even remotely that talented, so, I guess I just have to envy that one LOL

Lots of it.

The guy must be getting thousands of requests for a kit to build one of these. I bet he'll start selling them eventually.

Notice there's no water jacket in the block? He must just run it for a minute at a time and then shut it down.
There's also no webbing of any kind on the block. But I guess it's not making enough juice to warp itself.
