I have a buddy of my that will begin selling a 6-speed conversion kits for @ $5500 shipped.

It includes:
A clutch master stage5 (twin disk with lightweight flywheel)
All the parts needed.
TT Drive-shaft.
A rebuild Getrag.
Shifter.

He can add a brand new Getrag too but that's @ $2,500 more.

just 5 speed to 6 speed? how about auto to 6 speed? any other clutch options? maybe rps carbon to carbon?

Yes just 5-speed to 6-speed becuase in auto you'll need the peddals and stuff.
And no, no other clutch options till now. :lol:

Nope no pumkin till now but he can get them ar @ $1700 brand new.
And no custom driveshaft till not you'll have to modified the TT stock one that you get.

Nope no rear end till now.
He is in Miami right now but he will be moving to sunny Cali very soon.



I asked him about the Auto to 6-speed, he told me his working on that should be @ 8000 including dash pieces,support,subframe, ect. but it's still in the works.
I'll keep :stickpoke to finish it up sooner

Could you explain this?
How are you going to shorten the driveshaft and re attach the " + bolt thing"
Pics would be helpful

Does he want to wholesale this? I can get all the parts and sell 5spd-6spd swaps I just don't have the time to put it all together, it'd be easier to pay a couple hundred more and have someone else take care of it. Let me know, I am interested.

Looks to me as though he has a full-stock of "used" Getrag v160's layin around ready for swaps??? And i thought they were more rare to find vs. USDM 2JZGTE blocks?

When converting the 5-speed to 6-speed; is any subtunnel work required?? What parts are interchangable between the swap? Is there any cutting involved? As I understand, so far, the only thing necessary going 6-speed is ECU, driveshaft, rear-end, shifter, clutch slave cylinder. Is there anything else missing?

I went 5spd to 6spd. Joe H (carchitect on the forum)did the swap. He should have more info on this. But I know for sure he did a custom drive shaft and a auto tt pumkin. I was lucky I bought my jdm 2jzgte with the 6spd tranny for a very good price.
