i read when upgradeing to 550cc injectors, that i need new clips? then i read something bout 550cc's plug right up to the 440cc clips. which is true?

Nippon Denso High Imp 550's (FC tII injectors) will work with the stock clips.

You can get clips from any wrecker, mosy cars with top feed injectors will work. Here is a quick list

Most GM's, cavalier, camaro, buick they are all the same

90's VW's

newer Ford trucks

Or just go to your local parts store and they should have injector clips for about $8 a piece.

so your telling me, injector clips from most GM cars would work for RC 550cc injectors? what year of GM cars? need little more input

Yes almost all GM top feed injector clips will work, anything about 90+. I ended up getting six from a 90 something Buick V6. Also the newer style Cavaliers work too. Just take one of the injectors with you to the wrecker and try it.
