hi
this is my first post here , nice to see you guys messing with all those old cars
i have a question that has been bugging me for a while now
its that i got an ole crown with a 5M engine in it (carby) and it recently started spilling oil from the rear of the engine (between the engine and the tranny) , eventually all of the oil was spillied (it was confirmed as engine oil , not tranny oil)
i was told that the rear crank seal had failed and that i must change it
question is , how difficult is it to take this operation , i mean does it require engine removal , because i dont have a engine-crane to remove it at home and i cant lift that heavy bonnet to remove the engine either (i'm serious the bonnet is HEAVY)
also when the car was put on the flatbed carrier ther seemed that something had gone wrong with the tranny and the hadbrake is stuck now all the time ( 3 gear auto tranny , dont think it was used on the supra)
any input will be of help guys , thanks
