Ok i have a 1971 mustang fastback, i have modified everything on it, suspension brakes, a new engine, which is a supercharged 429 cobra jet, which i had dyno for over 600 hp, i was wondering what would happen when a mustang like mine would race a twin turbo manual supra, the mustang would be lighter of course closer to 3000 lbs instead of 3400 lbs, so i want some opinions..

If you are racing a BPU Supra in th 1/4, you should smoke him with 600 rwhp. The fastest BPU cars run mid 11s (high 10s with NOS). 600 rwhp in a 3000 lb car should be capable of mid 9s with slicks. If you are racing from a roll, you would definitely get a big jump, but after 120 mph, it will largely depend on your gearing. At BPU++ Supra should be capable of 180+ mph top end.

Has your car been lightened? I use to own a '72 Mustang Fastback (351 Cleveland with 4 barrel quench chamber heads) and it was a heavy car, about 3800 lbs.
