What do you mean? The tube off the pump runs into the main studs. I tried mounting the old tube off the original oil pump and same issue. From the looks of it i can grind off a bit from the bottom of that tube where it bolts to the pump and itll still steal.

Ill give it a shot with the original pick up and send photos later;

So I just tried filling it down a smidge to see and its still not enough. Just dont want to jeopardize the seal off the pump but i dont know what other options I have. Uh how do people run ARP main studs with the oil pump?

Driftmotion pump is identical to the OEM Aisen pump - tried mounting the OEM for shits and gigs and ran into the same fitment issues running into the main studs

That rod fitment issue is a real downer. I feel your disappointment. Any chance the rod bolts are just wrong? Seems like a big oversight on the manufacturer's part. When I go to Jegs, the nut style is hex but your's looks to have 12 point + thick washers.

That rod bolt looks like it's protruding well into the pickup tube. I don't think any clearance will fix that, at least from the picture.

Edit: Wow, my bad. I see you're talking about mains not rod bolts. Shouldn't post before I have my morning cup o joe.

The ARP main stud kit includes bolts for the #3 main cap to provide clearance for the oil pump pickup.
From ARPs site:
Musical instrument Font Office equipment Office supplies Gas

The 2 bolts on the right are what I am talking about here. This is the kit you got right?

I don't really have a pic handy showing the pump pickup clearance with the bolts but if you ignore everything else going on here and focus on the pump and main bolt you can see that it clears with the bolt on that main cap instead of a stud.
