7MGE Turbo Conversion?

Think id work if i compiled a stock turbo kit from the 7mgte, and put it on my JDM 7MGE? Without head work that is, has a 1.6 TRD metal headgasket, APR headbolts, So i am hoping the compressions not to high for some low to mid boost. Be open to comments, suggestions, step by step instructions? Thanks.
