Im new I just bought a 89 Supra 7MGTE. And was wondering what do i need to do to the engine ,To get around 400hp i have $4,000 to spend.

Upgraded CT-26 ex.(60-1 or a 57mm), HKS 1.2mm MHG, dosent have to be HKS just get a MHG. Arp head studs. Full turbo back exhaust, k and N Fipk kit or some sort of intake upgrade. HKS FCD, Boost controller to 15psi, 550cc injectors, Ajustable fuel pressure regulatior, Wideband, Boost guage. This set up on a healthy 7M should be good for some numbers. Do it right and it can be reliable. Just remember. Fast, cheap or reliable. You can only pick 2. There are many options and paths to build but this is just my .2

with 10grand you should get a 90mm turbo .

ight my engine has 140xxx and i just want make it stronger before i run more boost.

Just do a full engine rebuild. all forged internals and get a standalone ecu

Were do I get ecu from is a maf translator good or no
