hey. im lookin at a jdm mk3 supra and im wondering.
1) how hard the 1jz engines are to work on.
2) what engines are better power wize
3) any problems with the 1jz engines that are hard to fix?
hope some one can anwser my questions.

1jz's are as hard as any other engine to work on, however, they are easier for spark plug jobs ect. But changing out turbos is a real whore of a job on a 1jz (not that it's not on a 7m) the intake manifold is easier to remove on the 1jz and same with doing any of the belts on the front since there is only 1.

Over all the 1jz is easier I say. Most parts in the head can be swaped form a 1jz. alot of the lower parts can be swaped form 2jz if not call jmarks and they have everything you'll ever need.
