ok so i have an 86.5 supra non turbo that im using as my daily so i bought the car with a bad injector and that was gauging gas to get in the oil so i replaced the injector and changed the oil so i havent noticed any more gas in the oil but my oil pressure is just a little over 40 at wot ......bad oil pressure gauge or do i have a more serious problem i have no wierd noises car runs and idles like a champ wot pulls hard so i am just woundering what oil pressure is sappose to be at WOT thank you

86.5's are pretty damn fast, my 86.5 with a 91 7MGE absolutely murders my 92 7MGE, and they're both stock..

well at an idle my oil pressure is alittle below the first hash mark before 40 but as soon as i hit the gas a little it goes up quickly and when im driving on the highway about 60 65 its inbetween 40 and 20 more torwds the 40 really but the highest i have seen in my car is like maybe 45 at most im just wanting to make sure i dont have a serious issue at hand cuz i use this car as my dd and play toy so i need it to last im new to this car so i just wanna be safe

]quite bashin on him for sayin the 7mge is fast for the size of the car and the power they put out yes i agree they r decenly fast for what they r but when u try to com pare them to an 8 sec drag vette then yes my car looks like a neon compared to the vette so if ur gonna bash on someone for stating an opintion maybe u shouldnt be on this forum we r hear to help supra owners figure out problems not bash on others opintions ......................thank u everyone for helping me with this info on the oil pressure system in my car......ohh and madsupra88 when u get ur supra done inbox me ill show u what fast really is if ur up for a friendly race ........built rb25det gt45r70 turbo etc...etc...etc...etc... happy building

Not bashin anyone for anything! and certainly not comparing my drag car to anyones car here... just thought is was funny that a 7mge was considered fast thats all. Ohh and believe me, if i do end up making to the indy meet, i will hold you to that race my friend , but as of right now, its not looking too good for me. But if you and your boys make it to the MI meet im hosting, better bring out the big guns
