I've searched around and didn't find a post about this. I've also searched online. From what I know the later crossmember will bolt right in to the earlier supras. Are there any modifications needed for power steering or to anything else. If this has been said before let me know. The reason I ask is because I've heard that you would be better off with an 89+ car but I've also heard that it is no big deal to put in a newer crossmember. Thanks.

Yes the crossmember just swap over. The 1JZ will bolt into the newer 89+ crossmember with the round motor mounts, or you can just get some motor mount adapter brackets and keep you older style crossmeber and the much stronger square engine mounts. PM me for details.

^ i would go his route..... als bic can you shoot me a few pics and prices for your mounts? if the cost is right i will go that route instead of having my fabricator make them.... also any vibration issues are harshness with the solid squares?
