took my car to the shop today for alignment...they told me that the tie rod ends were seized and they could not align it? WTF
any ideas how to get them off or loose? i have an 88 ps rack i can use if all else fails but is an 88 rack different than an 89?

please advize

Torch the female thread area and vice grips on the area that has the flats ground into it.

I had to put a plumbers torch on the threaded part too. I found that a nut grabbing vice grip works best to grab the flat sides on the tie rod end. The nut vice grip has a C shape on one plier and a < shape on the corresponding plier that grabs a nut on the sides. It a very useful plier. This way u wont strip the tie rod end out.
