Anybody????89 turbo running like shiit, need help now

The car drove fine, but didnt idle well, I had the water temp and intake air temp codes, i couldnt figure out the problem with the wiring, i took out the ecu and checked the resistance of the intake air temp and E2 pins, and i got 5000 ohms, which is 2000 ohms higher than spec, do i have to replace the ecu? also, when i put it back together, it ran even worse, barely idled, reved up to about 2000rpm slowly, then died and backfired..... what would make it run so terrible? Is 5000 ohms way too excessive for the intake air temp and E2? someone please help me , im going INSANE lol

the grounds on the intake are good, i did a engine rebuild before this happened, and its had the coolant temp and intake temp codes ever since...

just ordered the new harness, it will solve many problems in my car :)
