Did all turbo mk3's come with an lsd?

No, some werent. Mostly automatics i believe. Easiest way to tell is by looking at the pumpkin. Should have a sticker that says LSD oil only. Most fun way is to power brake.:bigthumb:

Yes

The newer ones 89 and up had an especiaslly gay clutch pack preload spring. It caused some chatter on the older supras so it was changed to a lighter spring to reduce chatter and ultimately the effectiveness of the LSD.

Actually that changed starting starting in April 1990, not 89.

The material, thickness and order of the clutch packs changed, as well as the spring preload.
