1989-1992 1jz = Pre-recall PCV setup
1993-1996 = post recall PCV setup
1997+ 1JZ = VVTi
The pre-recall supras could be fitted with either PCV setup just depends on if the owner performed the recall at toyota. Im not aware of any recalls made on the VVTi 1JZ.
