94 Octane everyday? Could this cause problems?

I live in NY annd around here they sell 91,93 or 94. I was just wondering if putting 94 in my car everyday could be harmful. My car is currently in the shop being BPUed but I will be keeping my boost at 11PSI most of the time. Usually when I'm driving the car I barely take the car above 2700RPM. Should I only put 94 in when I want to boost or is it safe for everyday driving?

hey buddy...the higher the octane..the better.
your ok using 91-94 octain....
you shouldnt have many problems untill you want to run higher psi
HI octane unleaded gas won't hurt your car. octane is anti knock the tnedency to make gas poreignite with compression is knock. Modern cars have a knock sensor and when knock is heard the ignition retards( that is comes earlier in the comprssion cycle. the car does not extract all the hp availble from it's design. higher octane unleaded gas will allow mor eignition advance and more power. preignition unchecked is bad and can cause a blown piston which is expensive to fix to say the least. the manual specifies at least 93 octane and although the car will run on 91 it will be down on power from 93 or 94. In a pinch put in 91. these cars are not chaep you bought it for it's Hp why save a few cents on low octane gas?

The owners manual recommends 96 :)

High Octane in Japan is 95. Im sure your car is love'n the 94. :D
I like to run 2 gallons of 102, and fill the rest with 93octane, it costs, but makes it run like a bitch in heat!
Where the hell did you find 102 octane?
Pretty much what everyone has said is true. As long as the high octane is unleaded you won['t hurt anything. Also I've been running 94 octane in my 94 since I bought it in 1994. So I've had no problems in about 8 years of running 94 Octane and 18psi.

Hi Octane in aust is 98+............

you can use avgas(aviation fuel) for a 100+ octane but not everyone lives near an airport......... :)

I thought hi octane in japan was 100......... guess not........
Also think of that there are many ways of calculating octan..

some uses RON, some MON, and some the average of these two, wich makes some 95octan better then another guys 98 octan..

just to think about..

There is a gas station in town that sells it. He races cars so he keeps about 300gallons on hand at all times. (hehe):D
Sunoco has a 100 octane gas ( called GT racing gas ) available at certain stations. I get it at the intersection of rt. 202 and rt. 1 in PA. Go to a Sunoco website site to get a list of the locations. I treat my Supra to it every now and then and it does run like " a bitch in heat " as Shane would say.
