I was at a car show this weekend and had an opportunity to take my car down the track. I was a little dissappointed because there was no time to put in race gas and turn up the boost. I was running 93 octane pump gas with my water/methynol injection. My boost was set at my typical street setting of 20psi. The car really suprised me by running 97.3 mph. I guess the w/a injection is working to allow me to run that mph at 20psi the ECU couldn't have been pulling much timing. BTW the temp was around 70 degrees.

Since I was running half worn AVS Sports the ET wasn't great.
60' 2.288
1/8 mile 8.254

I felt this was a good mph on 93 octane pump gas.

Really impressive! What kind of MPH would you expect on the 1/4 with a 1/8th speed like this? 121-122?

Not bad Steve, my traps at the 1/8 last time out were 96.6 and 97.7 at 18 psi on 4 gal of 94 mixed with 1 gal. of 104. My trap at the 1/4 mile was 125.7 and 125.8 mph. I gained 29 mph on the one run, thats the only time I ever had a 29 mph difference between 1/8 and 1/4 traps. It was also my first time at this track with the single. ;)

Thanks for the info Rviscosi.

My guess is it would be in the 125mph range. I have run 98.2mph with race gas and traction issues.

That 1/8 mile is a 12.87 in the 1/4 as an approximation shown there.

I bet that is more applicable to NA cars though.

That calculator assumes a much slower 660'-1320' time than a turbo Supra (even a stock twin car) runs. You're right about it being better suited to a NA car.

My guess would be ~12.2/125 give or take a tenth for Steve's 8.254/97.3, I'd guess Steve's car would cover the 2nd eighth in 4.0~4.1 seconds.

Nice mph for pump gas and slippery tires, I bet traction would get you up near 100 mph at the 1/8th. :bigthumb:
