What's up everyone. I've been on the forums for some years now. Never thought I would actually get the chance to own a Supra. Bought this one from an auction House in Nagoya, Japan. It's a 1997 SZ-R. After 1996, the SZ-R came equipped with the V161 transmission and the A02B LSD. I planned to do a GTE swap so waited until one of these popped up. I really got lucky since I was about to pull the trigger on a 5 speed swapped RZ. I ended up getting this for around 6k cheaper. Here's the pictures of how he looked when I first go her.

I cracked the front bumper since it was my first time driving a manual. Slowed down to a stop without pushing the clutch in and the bumper smacked a parking curb. Lmao.

As you can see, she sits like a monster truck in the front. After some researching as to why, I came to the conclusion that someone swapped the suspension out for TT suspension. TT suspension has a higher spring rate so sits a bit higher in the front. Once I swapped it to NA shocks and springs she sits level. Here's how she looks as of today.

Short term goals are some HKS Hipermax IV coilovers, a front lip, and some wheels. Longterm goals are a GTE Swap. Already got the VVTI Supra wiring harness and ECU so should be mostly plug and play.

Thanks bro. I had no experience shifting with my right hand. Probably what made it so easy to learn. That, and YouTube.
