A lot of people would like to see you guys at bragging rights. I think it would be a good to show people how far the street import has come along. I was in Houston to see the car on the dyno and then drove to San Antonio to watch the race-DAMN IMPRESSIVE!! Hope to see you there....Wes

Who do the only have import classes up to 11 seconds? Have they not been paying attention?;)
Also, it looks like it's only for street legal cars on Sunday?

I say drive that bitch in there and show everybody who AAP is and this is what imports can do...Last year the show was huge-over 400 cars registered to race plus the show and vendors. That's why it's a 2 day event this year with "street cars" only. I know that car is streetable-I saw it myself. I think it's a little over a 2 hour ride from ATL.

Um, the white car can be driven on the street, but is not 'streetable'...5 gallon race cell, no alternator...they drove it to the dyno in Texas from around the corner because the race trailer wouldn't fit in the parking lot...

We have drove the car about twenty miles on the street before, it has operational blinkers, lights, tail lamps, windows etc... So driving is not a issue as far as a charge will take you but as Kirt says its no street car. I will look into it but to be honest racing across the country every week or two takes a lot out of you, It also cost a lot of money to send that car down the track, to do this at a event that has no real payoff or exposure is questionable.

We will be running the car in a few ultimate winer take all events this year that have big payouts and are normaly only run by domestic guys. This car will run 7s very consistent on radials with a little more tweaking.

It would be really good to see you there but I do understand the cross country driving. We passed you guys on the way down in Alabama on highway 10 late Tuesday before the race and drove home after the race on Saturday. 3000 miles in a Dodge Magnum in 5 days, damn I was beat. Anyways, good luck to the team.....Wes
