Hi everyone, One day my unit just stopped getting power. I cant turn on my AC or heater and all.

The on indication lights in it are all off and dont turn on when pressing any buttons.
The running night lights are the only thing in it that work.

Where I live it's approaching 100 degrees so AC is a must. Has anyone had this issue? Should I replace the whole unit or is this a wiring issue? I checked fuses and all looks good though I am not sure what fuse it is exactly. Ill post a video also.

if the fuses are fine, check the ac amplifier. the ac amp is the little electronics box that sits just above your head unit inside the dash.

pull the ac amplifier from your dad's car and swap them out. that should be the quickest way for you to diagnose if you have a bad unit. if not, then you'll have to go down the list of other possibilities, but this is a good place to start

would also like to know this! my AC stopped working when the fuse for my cigarette lighter port went out. i replaced the fuse and now my fan works but the AC option doesn't and neither does the temperature control.

Ok everyone, I put in my Dads AC amp and nothing changed. I also checked the kick pannel fuses and I also moved some relays around.

Any more ideas?

Update..

So today I removed my dash to clean up some hackjob wiring done by the previous owner and further address my Climate control unit problem...

I sent 12v of power into one of the pins in the Climate Control harness and the air blower came on, now this puzzles me as to what the problem is, I tried a different control unit and it didnt work... I am stumped.... any input from anyone?
