If you have time, play around with them on the dyno or on a "test and tune" drag day -- just be sure to reset your timing each time you set the exhaust cam otherwise you might be seeing differences from ignition timing instead
adjustable cam gears? who has them?
I recently purchased a set of AEM cam gears for my truck. I really only purchased them for looks but may play with the settings to try and get a few more hp. I did a search but all I could find was MKIV settings which are +2 intake and -3 exhaust. Does anyone have them on the 7M? If so, what are your settings?
My mods are JEs 30 over, ported head with 3 angle valve job. Lexus AFM, 60 trim CT26. Also, I have the NA cams. Would the settings be different for the NA cams versus the turbo cams?
Oh yeah, almost forgot. The block was surfaced .004 and the head .005. Would this be enough to alter the timing?
