Yikes! Hope the 2JZ teams step it up a notch or 2 this season to bring back the "record" where it belongs :)

Congrats to Steph and AEM though, very impressive time and MPH!

I'm not so sure about that, Marko's car made more HP than most if not all the PRO RWD 2JZ's when it dynoed 1520 RWHP, meaning that getting the MPH with a good setup is possible.

Sick pass ,it might be a little time before you see 215 out of a 2J however I think a .5X can be accomplished on a good pass. Gonna be a great season regardless.

everything Steph touches flies. He is a damn good driver and an unlimited budget to make things happen. Congrats to him and good luck this year. Its gonna get hotttt with Bullish and Titan trying to keep up. I predict 6.30's maybe low 6.40's will set the record sometime this year. Man i remeber when everyone was in this big rush to go 6.99 and 200mph.

I would have to see both engines on an engine dyno to believe this as it's pretty obvious that a Pro RWD car doesn't fit on a chasis dyno and even if it did I would be the last person around to watch it run. Putting down 1500 hp on a Dyno and running 6 passes a weekend on the edge are 2 totally different worlds as well.

I personally can't wait until the next platform gets released, I have seen initial dyno numbers that made my jaw drop, once the finishing touches get done and release I'm scared to see the final power numbers.

Conrats again to Steph, he went 6.52 @ 213.5 in testing.

Congrats to Titan as well who went 6.57 @ 214

Should be an interesting weekend with Titan and SBR out here this weekend for the US Street Nationals. I'll be sure and keep everyone updated to how we do and how the Titan crew does as well.

Porter - Double check your times as both are off from what I know.
