If I plan on running an AEM EMS should I get a seperate boost controller or use the AEM to do it? :scratch:

The AEM one works fine if you know how to set it up.

AEM EMS is basically everything needed in one thing...I'm assuming thats why its so expensive...but if you want a BC go for it...

If you always change the boost settings a seperate controller is easier. Mine is set at the AEM and never changed so a sepeate box is a waste.

That's a ~$1500 question.... :scratch:
You can use it and marry the standalone features with the OEM AFM, but I'll state that anyone with any standalone ultimately run thiers in speed density mode.

GM MAP sensor

for speed density

with the boost solenoid and all the connectors it was ~$157 from Fred Beans shipped
