Can you reference a lookup table within AEM Tuner?

I know within AEM Logger you can run math based on numbers.

But lets say I wanted to add a oil pressure sensor, with a 0-5V output into AEM. I know the data points or math equation that correlates voltage to pressure.

How would I get aemtuner to show PSI in real time while making changes instead of voltage values

No, it's just like AEMPro. You've got the lookup tables for air and coolant temp sensors, one for each o2 sensor, one table for all 4 EGT inputs, one for the knock sensors, and one for maf. As far as I know, those are fixed and you can't add any. You also have the ability to setup offset and scalers for AFR, Baro, Load, and MAF. You have the actual inputs, ADCR1-22, 1-12 are assigned to specific sensors. That gives you an extra 10 voltage inputs to log, but I think several of these are assigned to the switch inputs. You can still hook sensors up to them and log the ADCR channel, but you will want to use one that's not used by an active switch. I know of no way to display that input in some custom way. You can do that in AEMLog, of course. I hadn't heard of that driver for changing the outputs until I talked to you in Houston, maybe that opens up some more reconfigurability in this area, but that was for AEMPro, right?

If this ability is important to you, I think you'll probably want to go Motec. :)

That functionality we talked about was for AEM Gen Dos boxes, you can reconfigure:
LS9, LS10, LS11, and BARO can be used for 0-5V inputs if disabled as outputs.

If you wanta share info hit me up on aim sometime (kamiraa00)

It sucks you can't pull this information into a dashboard for tuning. With AEM's new serial bus gauge you can reference lookup tables on ANY and ALL of the 18 channels streaming to the device, and set warning (high and low limits) then trigger an output (such as an external warning light).

I'm surprised they haven't built that lookup table functionality into the regular AEM EMS Tuner software.

So far, Tuner has virtually the same options and tables as Pro does. It's just in a different package with a few additions. It's obviously being developed for the better V2 platform, but who knows what is being planned and when it'll be out! Not sure if it's quite what you're looking for, but the Aim dash works with the AEM serial stream and I'm sure you can configure it to convert the voltage values to the real values you want displayed. And you can set warnings with it.

Ya I think I'm going to eventually go the aim dash route. Just would be nice to make a pull and see all your info on the screen in real time for diagnosing instead of opening up logger. For example where fuel pressure is settling at, what oil temp is looking like before the next pass, etc.

I love the idea of the new serial line of communication, with lookup tables, warning limits, and external triggers. Wish the gauge was nicer though, kinda shitty looking lol.

Know of any serial communication devices that work with the aem besides those two? I like how proefi is doing the color can gauge, or plx with their obd2 gauge to display multiple stats at once.

Haven't looked into it at all. The V2 box also has CAN capability, but I haven't looked into what it works with. I'm guessing they're wanting to come up with some new products for it. It looks like it's active and you can configure the CAN messages in AEMTuner now, but I don't know what will work with it. You might want to contact AEM and ask if that CANvu VEM 400N display can accept what the V2 is outputting.

I never thought the Aim dash was shitty in any way! I'd love to have one.

I wasn't saying the Aim dash was shitty I was playing around with their software last night, and I'm pretty impressed. I'm saying AEM's serial gauge is kinda basic, great functions but old display matrix reminds me of my calculator back in the 80's.

Im in the process of wiring up Fuel pressure and oil pressure into my AEM V1 and plan on getting them sent over the data stream to the serial gage. For reference. For the V1 supra AEM v1. Manual trans spare 0-5v inputes are:
Pin 66B maf input Probably not being used if your using the map sensor
Pin 34A ADCR 11 This one was used for something with the auto trans, but not used for a manual car.
