As the title says I have an AEM Tru Boost on my sc300 controlling my pt6265 which should be set around 17 psi

It worked great with no issues for a couple months, I took it to the drag strip and the next day, poof it just quit working all together (no display or control) Then 2 days later it worked fine, a week after that it quit again and hasn't came back in weeks.

I figured it's a loose ground or power wire, but when I cheked the harness I was getting 12V right at the gauge.

Is this a common problem with these gagues? The only problem I found with the wiring was that at the solenoid the wiring was slightly exposed, maybe it shorted out?

I've heard several good and bad reviews on them but nothing of this nature so I'm just looking for other users opinions.

I would look into this first. Maybe from pulling some G's on the lanuch (haha) the exposed wires touched something and cause a short?

My thoughts exactly, just not sure why it failed, then started working for about a week, and failed again. The exposed wire was obviously fixed as soon as I found it.

AEM says they can check it for a flat rate of $60 + parts/labor - I'm just slow getting around to sending it off.

Damn at $60 plus parts and labor you could probably buy a new one. haha
Have you tried hooking it up to another power source just to see if it fails the same way?
