just a quick ? hoping for a quick answer

do i still keep my greddy boost controller when im going standalone?
or does the v1 have its own boost settings?

You can control boost with AEM as long as you have a boost solenoid to control. Some people say they would rather use a separate boost controller so you don't have to connect to a laptop just to change your boost. Others say set it and forget it and use the AEM to keep it as simple as possible.

I'm letting my AEM v2 control my boost since I don't really change it; it controls rock solid, always exactly the same.

You could also have a hi low boost setting switch with AEM EMS but no you can use whatever boost controller you want. AEM EMS has a map sensor so it will know what boost you are running.
