An AFC or an SFC-R will work great on a VPC car as long as it's installed correctly (*NOT* the way Apexi tells you to install it.)GRIFF said:I have a BPU+++ with NOS. I called MVP yesterday and talked to Dusty. Well he said that the Apex AFC is a p.o.s on a VPC car because of tuning. Have any of you had any luck with it. I need to know so I can send it back. Ive been told he is the man on this subject but I just wanted to hear what everyone had to add. .......Thanks GRIFF
GCC is most widely recommended because you can't screw up the install, it's plug and play. But if you splice correctly and splice well, an both the AFC and SFC-R provide extra tuneability because of finer RPM maps. The SFC-R also provides 3 fuel maps as opposed to 1 for the others, which is why IMHO it's the best fuel computer out there, and it's what I use (with a VPC). Works great.
