Has anyone had an issue with their A/C especially in the when it is hot. My car doesn't cool when during the summer months, but it cools just fine when it's not so hot outside. I checked it out last year they said no problems just adjusted the freon, but still made the same issues. Could it be the expansion valve?
have the same problems. i would also like to know what may cause this. whenever i refill with freon it works great for like a month or so and then goes back out again. i have not checked for any leakage yet but don't think that will help. thanks in advance for any help.
Me too. When its hot the AC light will sometimes flash, then I have to turn it off for a second then turn it back on. This may be something different then what you guys are dealing with. But luckily I have an extra AC from the swap. I need to put that thing back on there.
It could be the temp sensor for the ac. I had the same problem with another car where the ac was fine but it never really ran cold. The mechanic said that it was the way the temperature sensor was placed.
i would check the contition of your condenser and your Pump. But it could be the temp sensor isnt talking to the enviromental controls. do you leave it in auto or just full cold at hi?
