Anyone have a recommendation or part # for an intake tube air filter? I have read several forums where (I guess due to oil already in the PCV system?) it is not recommended to use a K&N style. See pic of current set up. Thx!

Oiled filters like that cause oil to end up on the air flow meter (AFM) which kills it. They also don't filter very well anyway. Unless your going big power the stock cold air filter housing with a low-restriction filter element works great.

I Used to run a K&N dryflow cone filter with the drycharger wrap over it in my honda.
Stopped using the oiled ones when my sensors started to have weird hardened oil deposits on it after using it and oiling it for a couple years.

This is whats on there now...I like the set up (vs. old air box). Anyone know of a standard (non oiled) air filter that is same style (dual funnel) & size?

The Apexi intake you have now is better than a K&N, and is a dry element filter so no oiling is needed. So long as the element stays in good shape it will be perfectly fine.

Amsoil sells dry filters, they out flow the k&n by a good margin. Injen actually sources their filters from Amsoil. They’re nanofiber dry filters.
