Hey guys,
I was messing with my aftermarket head unit and took out the dash and after I hooked up all the plugs again, the airbag light came on. I took everything apart again and double checked everything and it was all in tact. I was just curious if any of you have had anything like this happen. Thanks.

the airbag light always comes on whenever you disconnect the odometer plug. here's the fix...

go to www.mkiv.com and there is a tech article on how to turn off/reset your airbag light.

Airbags Yes/No?

On this subject, how can I tell if my 94TT actually has airbags in it, etc? Any easy way to find out?

Thx,

i'm 100% positive all mkiv are equipped with driverside/passengerside airbags...unless the steering wheel has been replaced with an aftermarket that doesn't have one. look at your steering and passenger dash...it should say SRS AIRBAG.

I know that the 94 Supra's were equipped with airbags. However, when u buy a used one, how do u KNOW that the airbags are still in. They could have poped in an accident or stollen and not replaced.
So, is there a simple way to find out if there are ACTUALLY airbags installed and electrically hooked up?
