How to find out if our alternator is a 120amp (auto) type or a 90 amp (6 spd)?

The reason is my alternator has been changed to a reconditioned one and i am not sure if it is the auto or the 6 spd. My car is autoTT though.

Anyone please?

well, i guess you could put an ammeter (with an ampclamp of course) on it and see what it can put out as you rev the car to whatever specified max charging rpms is?

i believe the alternator has to be load tested with a machine of some sort just revving it wont tell you much other than you have enough to support the vehicles assesories.
