Hey guys:

OK I've searched and have some answers, but I still can't find out exactly what the problem is.

First, Codes:

12-14-24

12-Not starting
14-Ignitor (some kind of malfunction)
24- AIT in MAF

Am I getting spark? Yes.
Is the Tach bouncing under cranking? Yes.
Fuel pressure good? Yes.
All grounds underneath IM? Yes.
CPS correct? Yes. Restabbed/checked 3 times.
Ignitor ground good? Yes.
I am almost positive I have all the vac routing done correctly and haven't left any out, but I will check agian just to make sure.

Story is just off fresh rebuild, car cranks fine, sounds good, won't start up. The code 14 is what's killin me. Everything checks out on the ignitor and I am for sure getting spark on all cylinders. Kinda stumped. Any ideas or thread you can throw at me would be great. thanks guys.

12 - RPM Signal


Diagnosis:

* No "NE" or "G" signal to ECU within 2 seconds after engine has been cranked.

Trouble Area:

* Distributor, or CPS, circuit
* Distributor or CPS
* Starter signal circuit
* ECU

14 - Ignition Signal


Diagnosis:

* No "IGF" signal to ECU "A" times in succession.
A = 6-8 (7M-GE)
A= 3 (7M-GTE)

Trouble Area:

* Igniter and ignition coil circuit
* Igniter and ignition coil
* ECU

24 - Intake air Temp Sensor Signal


Diagnosis:

* Open or short circuit in intake air temp sensor signal (THA).

Trouble Area:

* Intake air temp sensor circuit
* Intake air temp sensor
* ECU

Just to clear it all up. I took the top timing cover off, rechecked to make sure everything was TDC, took the CPS out and rechecked/restabbed the 5th time, and it started. I guess I was just another unlucky vitcum of the CPS wires. Took 5 times, but it started, lol.
