Just curious,
any NA-T 5speed cars here using the diff from a Auto TT?
How's the acceleration after the swap?
I know you gain top end/high speed with the smaller gearing on the TT auto diff.
But does the car seem noticeablly slower getting up to speed.
Or does the fact that the car is NA-T now make it usable???

Thanks
Ken

I have one! the acceleration is a little slower due the the reduction in final gear. It also feels as if you lost torque. However your going to gain more speed and your odometer is going to be off by 5mph slower.

Or....go my route by swapping out just the carrier.
You get to keep your gear but you get LSD.
Best of both worlds.

Actually, that is not the best of both worlds  The reason why we switch to the auto TT diff. is for the lower gearing, so we have more top end and more user friendly gearing being turbo. The lsd that u get with the swap is just an extra :) The stock n/a gearing sucks ass being na-t.

I think the NA gearing is perfect with the TT Swap. I only need to get LSD now. I don't want to get the TT Rear end specifically for the low end torque feel I get now.

i think sportscoupe is more into 1/4 drag. so he would rather have the shorter gears.
