I started over heating :furious: Thought it might be the thermostat... Swapped it out. No dice still riding high on the temp gauge. Is there any other reason beside the dreaded BHG that she would be over heating?

I'm 98% sure that's what it is haven't done compession test yet but yeah.. Got the gurgling noise in the head.

But any other idea would be very helpful.

If it is BHG I'm out for for a while no time money or energy to deal.

How old is the radiator? There may not be enough circulation due to blockage of passages by rust and gunk sediments. If it is really bad, flushing wont help.

Burping : Raise the front of the car high > open the radiator cap, and run the engine until you don't see anymore air bubbles in the radiator. This may take a little while.

Have you checked the fan clutch? IF that goes bad, your car will overheat since the fan won't spin fast enough for it to cool.

Have a pressure test done @ a mechanics, ususally 60 bucks > this will give an indication onthe condition of the head gaskets..

Good luck.

I see you are running a non water cooled turbo. Did you loop or block off the stock turbo water feed/return ports? Make sure you loop them, I have heard of overheating issues occuring when the ports are blocked.

I looped mine using a custom -6an line:
