I need to replace a 1/8" npt nipple that I am using on the block to Tee off for the oil sender. I stripped out the aluminum Earl's fitting and none of the local stores carry aluminum - just brass.

Would there be any problem using a brass nipple? Heat issues? Too hard for the aluminum Tee that I am threading on to it?

I can't imagine it would be an issue, but I want to make sure...

Thanks Dave!

I am off to Toyota to get a new seal for the rear of my tranny. It was leaking all over the cat and making some embarassing smoke :) Then I will stop and pick up that nipple, an Optima battery, and some more Syntec - and come home and put my catless midpipe on.

Still might have a small leak from the oil pan (very small) and might need to retorque head gasket. That will be Sunday's project...

Thanks again!
