Haha, I do the inverse. Sometimes when I am driving another car and when it is time to get out, I reach for the handle in the MKIII position.

and yes, NO ONE can find the damn handle. i usually just laugh and tell them where it is. sometimes i get out and let them find it themselves

I like the light idea. Just a normal bulb with a green cover on it would work too.
One of those high output green LED's would be awesome however. There is room under the handle for a press-fit bulb housing, and there are power sources in the door, just hook it up so it's always on when the ignition is on. (Who cares during the day, and with a LED, it will last longer than the car does.) Even if you wire it to the lamp circut, as soon as you open your door, the lamps would come on, and your green LED would light up, allowing the passenger to find it.

I'm thinking I'm gonna wire it to either a remote control that will also eventually control the rest of my lighting (interior only) or I'll dig some seat pressure switches out of some airbag cars in a junkyard and voila! lights up when you plant your ass!

i'd rather have hit another car rather than what my grandma did to my car..............she's a tiny ass lady.....so she used her damn legs to push open the door....well as she was pushin...my door went out and raked a wire fence scratch the shit outta my door with brand new not older than 2 months RSP paint job.......that i did myself........so pissed at her....she's luky she's old...lol....
the worse thing bout it was that she said she couldn't see wat was wrong....didn't do anything......thas wat pissed me off.....(she took it down to metal)

Yea now that i think about most of my friend don't know where to initially look for it, kinda funny, but I have done it where I'm in my Lumina (winter beater) and go for the handle as if i were in my supra....lol

haha, I do the same thing as XScurry all the time..when i'm in any other car, i automatically reach downward to open the door..
but yea, usually they have a hard time finding the handle, and the funniest part is that they start playing with the locks, hoping that would do something :wtf: lol..its quite amusing
