i have a DP and an exhaust with no cats(Random Tecgnology). it is just a smooth system. did i gain anymore horsepower than a system with cats? not as loud as i thought it would be? but with the ttc mod it has a mean growl. does this motor require a specific amount of back-pressure to operate at its peak? is there a specific back-pressure that has been tested for peak horsepower?

later carl

DP w/out cats + cat-back exhaust system + boost controller(18psi) + BCC = ~390-420rwhp !!

stock = 290rwhp.

PS. DP w/out cats adds = ~30-40 hp! due to less restriction.

Hopefully I answered your question. Later

Stock A/T-TT dynos around 290RWHP-300RWHP
Stock 6-speed dynos around 300 RWHP
I dynoed my 6-speed with DP (catless) & a super dragger exhaust without an intake and made 328RWHP on a pump gas :D If you add 15%,an average loss to the drivetrain, to 328RWHP then you are talking about 378 HP at the crank and the factory is 320. The bottom line is yes you would loose some power if you go with cats or even with highflowing cats :(
Later,Yasir 412 RWHP/421 ft/lbs torque :D :D
