I'm thinking on getting some ceramic coated Pacesetter Headers from Nopionline.com ([email protected], if you carry these, please respond, i'll happily buy from your instead, or any type of header for my GE)

But im wondering if they fit right or do they need any modification?

I know pacesetter isn't the best, but there really isn't much of a choice for me to get.

Thanks for any comments

Peace

never touched it when i was na. from what i learned, they didn't fit right, require modification to fit correctly (it was meant for the 5M?) and the o2 sensor must be moved up (too far down the pipe). doug thorley used to make a set.......haven't seen one of those in a while. just not worth it. save yo pennies for a 7mgte......

Too many pennies and too much headaches to go to Turbo

What other headers are out there for 7M-GE's?

You speak of this doug thorley, but it sounds like they are hard to get ahold of.

Thanks

hey there fellow NA...I just bought my pair of pacesetter headers from Nopi. They havnt come yet but Ive seen Dean Marcum and Bishop do this mod when they had their NA's so Im gonna give it a try. Also they do NOT fit right and modifications are needed. If you need any help if u get them PM Ill gladly help you. Also dont get the ceramic coated ones the coating burns off quickly... just get the regular ones and wrap them up with thermotec .

i have them....

I have them on my 93 Probe GT, I was really lucky they actually fit wich is not normal for pacecrappers. I have installed 3 sets and 2 were WAAAAAAAYY off. In my old probe club on average 4 out of 5 sets didnt even come close to fitting. If they did fit they leaked or had to be ground alot because they didnt line up or half the inlets were all messed up and shiet. There cheap work good after you get them to fit and fill the holes. ohh and unless you spend way to much to get the coated ones the reg ones look like crap after about 4 hours of driving on them. So prep and paint them again before you but them on. My advice would be to find another set. I have talked to other peopel with diff cars and its pretty much the same story all around. Even my buds performance shop makes fun of them all the time and he sells them. lol

correct me if i'm wrong...but i heard that you can get the thorley headers for the 5m and do a little bit of modding to make them fit.....has anybody heard/done this.?
That is correct, me lad! 5M/7M exhaust manifold goods are interchangeable with minor modification. (7M goods have to have a piece cut out of the big flange thing that bolts to the head because it interferes with the power steering reservoir or something like that, to fit the 5M). Not sure about 5M goods on a 7M, either very little modification or no modification at all.
