Hey,

Ive got an opportunity to work for Air Canada in montreal for my first engineering work term, and had a few questions for anyone that lives nearby.

What are living expenses like, for a room and a kitchen and bathroom near the airport? What is gas like? How much is insurance for your supra?

Will I want a car in the summer, or is a bike enough?

Finally, I seem to remember supras being worth more over there. Maybe I should drive over and sell it at the end of the summer. How much is an 89 with no rust and a rebuilt engine and 260000 k worth over there?

Gas is 5 to 10 cents per litre more in Quebec than Ontario on the average. The Montreal guys are putting on a meet in July some time. A few of the guys from TSC are planning to drive over for the weekend.

You can buy a decent house for 200k minutes from the Dorval airport.

You can rent a house in the area for around 1K a month.

Gas ranges from 80 to about 95 cents a liter on long weekends.

If you are single you can eat cheaper in restaurants than cooking at home.

Montreal is the sex capital of North America (Americans flock here for strip clubs and hookers)

All the ladies of the city take pride in themselves and always look their best.

In comparison to a place like Toronto you will live for one third the price and get about five times the amount of sex with girls that are at least 50% more attractive.

BTW...I`m from Ontario and live near the airport
