myeremco, i'd go to the one in baileys or sterling. they have the best car stereo installers in the area imo.

I have one. I made it myself. i have 1 12's and I can still fit my targa top. The only down side is that you have to lose the spare tire :D
We can get to gether some time if you want to see it. I live in the Tysons Corners area. Let me know

I guess I would like to keep my spare too, I am probably asking for the impossible here.

Since you all live in NOVA like I do; I go to Richmond for grad school...do you all know any good tuners for MKIV's in the area? I'm really looking for places that know the MKIV. Regular shops have never even seen one. It's a pain since they try to fix things when they have no idea what they're doing. I'd really could use some advice on this. Thanks a lot guys. I'll put another post in the tech section.

Nope dont know of any good places to bring a supra around here, I brought it to the toyota dealership here in town and the guy who was going to be doing my inspection asked if it was a turbo or not (the hood had been open and he had been staring at the engine for like a minute). If you find some place drop me an email ([email protected])

Mark...LOL!!! That's so funny. I've only started to work on my ride when I got it in May. I did a lot of running through websites and photos of engine bays to learn more about it. Even I could tell the difference. I heard that Altered Atmosphere in Southern Maryland does a lot of work on Supras. I went to the website (www.alteredatmosphere.com) and they seem to have MKIV upgrade packages. Seems legit and they specialize in 3000GT's and a few other cars as well. I talked to a guy named Mike and I don't know if they just have bad service or just really busy, but they'll help you. I heard that there are some other places in VA Bch that are decent as well. Don't know locations though. Take it easy.

it depends on what you want done, for stereo stuff, like i said, i'd go to myer emco, they can get pretty imaginative and it is possible to make a sub box without removing the spare. it'll probalby cost a pretty penny though, that's a lot of custom fab work and it isn't going to be cheap.

for performance stuff, drop me a line, i know a couple people that could you out in the nova area. AAM is good too, Mike's a good guy and they do lots of supra work.
