I think of everything on my car this will be the most difficult part to part out. So, I am going to see if I can get this sold, and if I can I will part the rest out, but if not I will just keep trying to sell the car as a whole.

It has:

Full Headwork package from SP ($2000)
Pauter Rods ($1000+)
Greddy Pistons ($1350)
ARP 14mm Head Stud conversion ($500+ with the machine work)
All ARP hardware ($200+)
bored .20 over (machine shop charges, ~$500 for all the machine work)
Crower 272 cams ($300 + hours of time shimming the head to work with them)
AEM Cam Gears ($250)

I would also include the TT valve covers and spark plug covers if you are planning on going with a side intake (like the TT style). This is @ $300 worth of stuff with the powdercoating.

This motor has 800 problem free miles on it, and has only seen high boost once on the dyno. Other than that I haven't even been able to get on it, because I sold all my gauges a while back!:) This is also the first time this motor has ever been together.

That is $6100 without and assembly time/labor, or including the value of the motor itself that you have to start out with. I would like to sell this package for $4500, which leaves you a complete motor to sell seperate (you will get $600) and saves you assembly, misc parts purchasing like new head gasket, new gasket kit, oil pump, etc., etc. This should save you pretty damn close to $3000-$3500 by the time you add it ALL up.

So, if you are interested in all this for $4500, email me at [email protected] or post back.

Oh my. Let me see if I can scratch up some money. How would you get it to me? Do you have all of the documentation? Will you include all sensors? I might be able to come pick it up - I'll be in touch. This is too good to pass up.
All my sensors are Speed Pro sensors, which I will have to sell with the Speed Pro. You will have to swap accessories, sensors, etc. from your old motor to this one:)

Where are you in KY? I could probably meet you half way. I met a guy from Louisville when I sold him my NSX.. We met up in St Louis.

I don't have any "documentation" but you can feel free to call Sound Performance and talk to them about it. They can tell you everything that has been done to it, how long ago, how many miles, etc.

I don't honestly recall the last time I received a receipt from SP, I usually just wire them money, and when I go to pick up the car receipts are the last thing on my mind!:)

Let me know if you want to speak with them about it and I will get you in touch with who you need to talk to.

OK. Let me make sure it is ok with the old lady first - then I will see what I can do about funding. (I actually have it available but I need to make sure it I can work out my other plans.) I'm 50 minutes east of Cincinnati. I saw your motor on a stand back in the summer of '01 at SP. So in order for it to run in my car, I would have to get sensors and some sort of stand alone. then my 5 speed will shear into pieces. I'll contact you privately after christmas to see if we can work something out.
Have a happy holidays.

Sounds good to me. Obviously if I sell my motor, I will also be parting out the rest of the car so I will also have the speed pro and distributorless conversion for sale if you need it:)

Happy Holidays to you too:)
