Yes they are a PITA and hopefully the nuts that hold them on are not rusted because then it will be even worse.

The lower nut is behind the plastic seatbelt guide loop, so be sure to unscrew that too, along with removing the upper plastic panel.

Oh, also... a tip. Use some clear silicone around the air vent part or you'll end up with a water leak driving in the rain.
