Well one of my friends received his kit yesterday. We haven't installed it yet but from everything I saw as we took it all apart yesterday it's definitly a good buy. Everything was top notch quality and everything was packaged perfectly. It's a definite good buy.
where did he get it at? I want to see a website and i dont find it under search engines. 80(

does it come with downpipe
or
which bov did he get
and which turbo sp?

thanx
thanks.

I tried that but i thought it was direct not directed. No to go see the goodies.
It comes with a small flex pipe that bolts the turbo up to the downpipe that you have with your stock twins. He went with a Garrett T-66. He didn't like the BOV included with the kit so he went with a Greddy Type-R for a little extra. But the extra it cost him was nothing near what anyone wants for the same thing.
Yeah, a turbonetics T66 P-trim .70 a/r. The Type-R BOV was about $200 extra. I got the DYI kit with a dual MAF intake pipe.

Franky, the cast manifold looks like shit. People have put down over 500 on pump gas boost with it, so I'm not too concerned.

can I get this kit w/o turbo and then buy a SP-60? Other words, will this kit work with a SP tubo?
Yes, I beleive the complete kit is just over $2000 without a turbocharger. Then you can buy an SP60 and bolt it right up. This kit works with any Garrett compatible turbo. Just email Directed Engineering or call them, they'll answer all your questions.
hey i noticed they have their own bcc too for 75 bucks, anyone used this? they claim its better than the greddy
Hi guys,

BBC: the one that our tech is making, provides a steadier upper bound on the signal. The Greddy had some kind of noise, not probably noticeable by the Supra ECU, probably because it incorporates switches for other vehicles. On ours, we used just the straight needed Supra circuitry. Result, no noise at all, and steady signal at either 4.1 or 4.3 or of course anything else, depends were you set it.

As for the kit, it's not as I said again and again rocket science, the components are out there, and anybody can purchase most of them from different manufactures. We are just getting a very good wholesale price from them, because of previous business and we just add a 15% for our time, that's about it. We just added the little pieces of the puzzle together and added some more and there it is. As for individuals that already got the manifold, the turbo and the wastegate, no big deal, we can sell them all the other needed items, so they can complete the kit.

As I repeatedly said we prefer to sell DIY kits or components, because the lead time is approx. 2 weeks if not earlier. The full kit has lead time about 4 weeks. DIY kit is only $1,660 without the charger and you basically have to weld the DP, port the WG port with a dremel and weld the small connector of the WG, that's it.
As for the complete kit without the charger is $2,100 and we can actually fit any kind of turbo you want V-Band, on center etc. If we don't have the housing, you can send it to us and so we can make your DP and then it will be returned to you (at this time you also got the option of having it ceramic coated inside-out for a small price, since you went through the expense of mailing it to us).

Just to verify which BOV is included in our kit, basically none, that's the customers choice. I know almost everybody on BPU has another BOV (leaky stock BOV). So why put it in the kit, extra expense (not very intelligent). If you want one, I'll send you one for a very competitive price.

Interesting that you mention this, I had thought my BCC was bad. OBD2s have a 'Boost Presure: High' error code that can be tripped if boost exceeds a certain value (it must remain at that value for 2 seconds to hit boost cut). This code was occasionally thrown on my car with a BCC, I assume because of the 'noise.'

Hurry up and stap that kit on and remember to post the dynos. Seems like this is a good alternative to expensive single upgrades. Also perfect for people who have blown twins and are on a budget for repair.

Good luck,
Chris
