Asasin Supra Build.

Hey everyone It’s been a while since I’ve been on the forums but now it’s time to share my dream build in the making . My first car was a a TT 6 speed Supra and ever since i owned one I can’t seem to pry myself away from them. I bought my first Supra at 17 working at Best Buy after school and weekends doing construction to afford car payments, I bought the car with stripped paint not much interior and hardly any electrical working but it was my project to look forward to. Long story short I couldn’t afford to make the payments and had to sell it. After selling it I couldn’t let it go I bought another one But a NA auto from SC. I fixed it up sold it to buy a roller from Florida. I built that Supra from paint, interior , body work and paint. I taught myself how to work on cars from engine work to body work all in front of my parents house with a dead ends street , some sears jack and a craftsman’s tool set. It wasn’t easy and I sure as hell made a shit ton of mistakes but that’s how we learn. I kept selling my supras to buy a better Supra because I wanted to be able to have enough money in my budget to build MY Supra. All the things I wanted as far as color, horsepower , suspension, wheels etc etc. unfortunately that never happened . I ended up owning around 8 supras with my supra build never completed. Eventually I was about to graduate car school and I had to sell my Supra and my project cars to start and focus my career. Long story short Went to car school , graduated and got a job at Mercedes. I worked my ass off to be the best mechanic and save money for my own shop. I eventually bought my own auto repair and focused on growing my business as big as possible . After years of busting my ass I now have one of the busiest auto repairs in my town With a honest and reputable name. With that being said I have saved my money over time for my ultimate Supra build I have always wanted. So if your still awake right now After my story you at least have the back round and where this is all coming from so let’s get to it.

Found this gem in Maryland about 5 hours away from me

1995 TT Supra 90k miles 6 speed no accidents all tags intact with a blown motor car half taken apart and paint that looked like it was being sanded at the time with barley any interior. I shot out to Maryland gave the man cash and towed this pig home, let the shit show begin

I made an instagram as well for the build if you guys would like to see more pix I may not get a chance to post here @Asasin_Nation

Right before the body shop I had all the glass removed along with undercoating on the undercarriage . I was lucky enough to find a OEM hood A few towns over from me . Body shop is eliminating rear wiper and antenna holes and taking care of any dents or imperfections in the body

So after getting shafted on my time frame from the body shop 9 months later my car is finally painted -_- . Now this was a big decision for me As far as color went, I battled for weeks between keeping the car black or doing a full color Change . I wanted to keep the car black because that’s how it came from the factory And it’s also one of my Favorite colors (when clean) but in the end I went with RSP. Once the paint was done I had brand new quarter glasses installed and a new windshield with Toyota glass weatherstripping .when the car got home i tossed on the wheels for some pix to see how everything is coming together . I found some 19 inch Volk GTV-s in pennsyltuckie I scooped them up a few weeks before dropping the car off for paint

had the machine shop work there magic, boring, honing the cylinders and main studs along with balancing and polishing the crankshaft.

also went as far as to get a brand new denso ac compressor an original Toyota power steering pump and alternator, tensioner, tensioner strut assembly . Had everything painted or powder coated black and went as far as replacing all the bits and bolt with stainless hardware so everything is new , replaced all gaskets with original Toyota gaskets . I’m probably elmhurst Toyota’s top customers at this point

So while the car was at the body shop I did a lot of work and focused on locating all new seals and weather stripping for the car and if any clips or molding where damaged or missing . Finally located the side skirt clips from Toyota parts deal and part numbers will be in pix if anyone needs them

When I was planning this build I knew one thing for certain and that was I wanted this to be a “new Supra”. These cars are now 20 plus years old and with age comes wear and tear, I wanted to bring this 95 up to 2020 with new goodies and mainly to avoid any type of failure while on the road due to age . So out with the old and in with the new !! Stripped the entire front and rear subframes has them cleaned and painted, replaced all subframe bushings with polyurethane bushings , along with the diff bushing. had the diff cleaned up and painted and made brand new brake lines. Undercoated the fuel tank cover and and freshened up some heat shields. I even went as far as having all my wheel bearings replaced and painted to have this car up to spec, everything in the suspension is adjustable at this point maybe a little over kill but if it’s worth doing it’s worth over doing . All Megan racing suspension except the upper control arms are from drift motion, HKS adjustable suspension . Stop tech trophy big brake Kit all bushings are from figs and it located the Toyota subframe bushings on line

Supra Man, man INCREDIBLE build, simply first rate SEMA quality from what I have seen, pics load v slow here. This is what I wanted to see. Would u ming ball parking the $$s, again just incredible how u took a box of parts and built what I guess is a monster. Im knocked out.

U use extra camber [if can be dialed in] ? Some makes like an extra degree or so. Love the color its kind of like a std Supra color but its pro and has a lot of depth.

Thank you very much! I appreciate the kind words. when I was looking for new suspension I wanted everything to be adjustable so I can have a perfect alignment . even though there are centric bolts for that these arms have more reach then the standard adjustments. I really didn't need adjustable upper control arms but I got a killer deal on them do I picked them up.. As far as the budget goes I haven't exactly tallied up everything yet but it is up there on the scale lol. I have a few more things to order so one of these days ill sit down and see where I am at

Since the suspension is all handled I ran engine and body harnesses through the fire walls prepping for the engine going in, I sanded and cleaned up the ac line as best I could do to give a press appearance . Since the heater box was out I took the opportunity to change out the evap core , expansion valve and all the AC o rings in the system , changed all hardware and lubed up with some PAG oil. The bolts going through the expansion valve were so old they took the threads right out of the core, I had to make a little bigger hole tap the hole with some fresh threads and some hardware and everything is all okay. Also found a new denso ac condenser with receiver dryer I had to add in as well gata stay cool in the humid jersey summers.
