Waited 2 months for these abs and master covers to show up and I didn’t like how they were only held on by one bolt and that they didn’t go low enough to cover the master area, spend a few days fabricating extension metal pieces welding them along with an addition bracket that mounts to the strut tower stud. Felt like doing a little more metal work so I decided to make a connection plate from each cover to clean things up a bit and also made an addition cover by the intake for covering a few fuse box wires I couldn’t hide and fabricated an intake out of some 5 inch pipe with a 45 degree bend, now that everything is mocked up I can send it out for powder coating. I’m trying to make this engine by as clean and uniform as possible. More work to do I will keep you guys updates

Nice project.

I looked at the piston pins, they look like the CP standard pins and not upgraded ones?

The motor/tranny setup looks beautiful! You should have named this car "Blueprint". This is how its suppose to be done

So the first start up went very well car ran great some minor tweaks have to be done still but it was just a mock up to make sure everything was in working order. I removed everything as far as cams t belt and all pulleys to get powder coated along with the abs and master covers . While they were out I tore apart everything in the doors and installed some sound detonation material, new window regulator and door lock cables from elmhurst Toyota. Very happy finding the door lock cables because I’m sure a lot of people here hate when they hit unlock on the fob and they end up sticking the key in the door cylinder anyway, part number is on the bag if anyone needs it there both the same part number left and right side . , don’t mind the mess on the interior with all the wires and crap I installed sound detonation everywhere I possibly could to calm down road noise, clean up the fender well liners and installed . Also had my fan shroud and fan painted to match everything going black ... ordered an entire sound system from crutchfield, ended up going with kickers all the way around and a Marion 2510 amp due to the size. This thing is so tiny you can put it anywhere

had the body shop take all my exterior trim panels and freshen them up with some trim black paint. Got all my stuff from powder coating back and reinstalled everything back to working order and finally got this thing off jack stands and drove it outside for the first time.

Holy shit dude... Incredible build! I'd say 95% of the guys on these forums would be TERRIFIED of doing any of the stuff you have done. Serious undertaking and an amazing result so far! Here I was thinking that pulling the head for my NA-T build was a big project. I'm drooling watching this.
