I can't get under the car right now to check, and honestly don't know what to call the upper plate. The lower plate I imagine is an inspection cover.

A guy local to me has these and I thought I had everything as of last night. I keep realizing shit. The "adapter plate" up top. Is it necessary for my swap? I can't even find it in the TSRM.

the top adapter is needed to space the starter correctly to the flywheel. It is both a blocking plate and starter shim.

I swear that I responded to you. I saw the damn post in line and everything. My bad man. Also, did you have the proper transmission braces for the swap?
