Friend of mine blew his OD and 3rd gear in his N/A Auto tranny
he can get Turbo Auto tranny cheap

Will IT plug-in directly into the N/A harness and does he need to change ECU or ECT?

I am not an Auto guy so i have no idea myself :(

not aware of any differences that would render the turbo auto incompatible. all i know is that the turbo trans has tougher internals (clutch packs), so go for it

87 - 88 transmissions are not the same as 89 - 92. Other then that they are interchangable. The turbo model has more friction disc's and plates then the non turbo. Should just mean better shifts and a longer life for the turbo tranny.
