how much h.p can a stock mkiv n/a aut tranny hold before i have to buildit up? Also what do i have to do so i can downshift into first without possibly blowin my tranny in manu mode. i am getting a tranny cooler and other suggestions Thanks

At 350rwhp my stock tranny was slipping at the shifts, so I would stay at or below 300rwhp if you want the tranny to last very long.

Thanks for the info. another quick question is ther anyway to make it shifter harder? do i need a shiftkit , stall converter switch, elecrtonic tranny controller?? lol what do i really need to do. The stock tranny shifts way to slow Thanks Brett

who makes a upgraded valve bodyfor the n/a trannys? ? and can i put it in wihtouit having to do a complete re-build thanks Brett

Sound Performance does, but I don't think they recommend the valve body mods without building the rest of the tranny. I think L10 sells the valve body mods seperately, but I've heard questionable things about them.
