Check your other fuses, and try putting the trac fuse back in. The Cruise control should not be affected by the trac system. It sounds like a coincidence to me.
A word of caution:
Unless you have $3400 burning a hole in your pocket, I wouldn't leave your fuse out very long, cause it will significantly shorten the life of your tranny.
